MAM College organises enrollment drive for NCC

JAMMU: Enrollment Drive for Infantry Division of NCC was organised today for NCC Cadets at Government MAM College Jammu in which 725 cadets were selected.
It was held under the supervision of Prof. Lt. Savita Jamwal, Associated NCC Officer (ANO). The students had to appear for various exercises including jumping, running, pushups, situps etc for selection.
The selection committee comprised of the officials from NCC Unit mainly Hav Kuldeep Kumar and Hav Chain Singh under the overall supervision of Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Monisha, 2nd J&K Boys BN. NCC Jammu.
After the selection of cadets NCC, Pledge was sworn in with great enthusiasm in order to inculcate the spirit of brotherhood, world peace, discipline and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan among the students.
The Principal of the College Dr. Romesh Chander praised the students because of interest shown by them. He said that he would show full interest in supporting NCC activities in the college.
Prof. Savita Jamwal appreciated the students for the keen interest shown by them in NCC.
Others present on the occasion included Prof. Subash Sharma, Prof. Sangeeta Sudan, Prof. Mazammal Hussain, Prof. Rakesh Kumar Koul, Prof. I.A Khan, Prof. Sushma Chib and Prof. Rajesh Sharma.
