UDHAMPUR: Mismanage
ment and carelessness created by Traffic Police posted all along on National Highway utterly fails to regulate smooth traffic on national highway especially from MH Chowk to Army Public School (APS) Udhampur. Its become routine for daily computers and pubic in general who have to remained fixed in traffic Jam for unlimited hours thus by put people in state of chaos and unrest. Interestingly, Traffic Police being responsible to ensure hassle free traffic movement utterly fail to regulate smooth traffic which has exposed inability of traffic police at large.
It is pertinent to mention here that to travel on national highway has become very thorny, courtesy Traffic Police who are supposed to ensure hassle free vehicular movement on the road. Surprisingly, it has become daily routine of traffic disaster on national highway right from MH Chowk to APS Chowk become very uncertain to reach their respective destination. “Height of the things cross all limits as traffic police despite knowing the condition used to allow the heavy vehicles especially load careers towards Srinagar in very ransom manner through city instead of divert on bypass highway for their Hafta collection from operators” alleged by aggrieved operators.
“Interestingly, traffic police officials in order to save their skin from public wrath left the Jakheni Chowk and laid Nakka near Brihma bridge and Krimachi Morh on highway and went on collection Hafta money from innocent operators of private as well as commercial vehicles openly” alleged by many local people. While old aged persons, school going children and many people ailing from health problems have to remain fixed in Jam.
Prominent citizens Anil Dubey, Achin Kumar, Abilash Saini, Ashok Kumar, Ranjeet Singh and many more have expressed their concern towards increasing menace of traffic disaster on highway.
