JAMMU: Taking stock of situation in the valley which has caused inconvenience and problems for common man and Amaranth Yatra pilgrims, the State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has noted that the situation has been created at the behest of elements enimical to India whether sitting across LOC or within the state.
Sunil Sethi Chief Spokesperson J&K BJP in a press release issued late tonight said that these elements are not only anti-nationals but they have no regards to humanity and human values .
He said that any person who takes to arms and indulge in activities which are criminal and in execution and aid of Militancy seals his own fate and no mercy can be shown to him. Burhan Wani was not only terrorists but motivator and recruiter of young generation of innocent Kashmiris of impressionable age and security forces have achieved major success by killing him of which all nationalists are proud of.
The lawlessness which has been created in valley has only found Burhan killing as an excuse otherwise efforts were being made earlier also by Pakistan backed elements to vitiate peaceful atmosphere in the valley. Sunil Sethi further said that the no repentance was ever exhibited by Burhan Wani nor there is anything to indicate that he wanted to leave path of violence and terrorism and as such there was neither scope nor question of any second chance or mercy being shown to him and if security forces would not have killed him he would have continued his terrorist activities.
BJP further said that future of state will be determined by persons who are committed to peace and equitable progress of all regions and there is no room for elements given to concept of inhumanity and barbarism in future building of the state.
It called upon all peace loving people of valley to rise above the instigations by vested elements and be with peace to work together for better and peaceful Jammu and Kashmir.
Sunil Sethi noted that even main stream politicians given to democratic norms are showing weakness and making statements which are not good for the nation. Any statement which costs aspirations and doubts on security forces without factual Base or reasons is deplorable and will be opposed by the BJP.
