JAMMU: J and K Milchar Front urged State Government to resolve the issue of protesting migrant employees amicably who are under the banner of All Migrant Employees Association, Valley staging protest for the last 13th consecutive days.
State President J&K Milchar Front, Shamboo Nath Saproo urged the government that their package should not be linked with the return and rehabilitation of KPs in Valley and instead be declared as economic package for KPs.
Saproo said most of the package employees have left the Valley and have come down to Jammu and are reluctant to go back unless they have solid assurances for their security. He appealed to the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti to provide fool proof security to the package employees and also make efforts to create a congenial environment that of trust and confidence by engaging with the civil society as well so that a sense of security returns at the earliest and till they should be adjusted in Jammu as demanded by the protesting migrant employees.
