JTC seeks adjustment of migrant employees in Jammu

JAMMU: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front J and K expressed concern over the current deteriorated conditions in Kashmir Valley which has forced the migrant employees serving in Kashmir to leave Valley to save their lives.
Speaking in the meeting held here on Friday, Shadi Lal Pandita, President JTC/Co-convener and Soan Kashmir Front J and K asked State Government to take immediate steps in adjusting these migrant employees in Jammu in different offices till the time permanent rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community is ensured in safe and secure township in Kashmir Valley.
Pandita also demanded filling of remaining 3,800 posts under Prime Ministers Employment Package immediately as this right has been extended to this community by the then Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh during his visit to Jammu in 2008.
Pandita said that the Kashmiri Pandit community is well interested in their permanent rehabilitation in Kashmir Valley in separate township but it is unfortunate that the State Government has failed to come to the expectations of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community.
Pandita demanded on spot police recruitment rally at Jagti migrant township for affording opportunity to the educated eligible youth for their absorption in Police Department.
Among others who were present in the meeting include M.L Akhoon, Raj Kumar Tickoo, Sunil Koul, Raj Kumar Bhat, Shuban Di Raina, Kashi Nam Bhat, Rattan Lal Bhat, R.K Raina, S.L Kar, Hari Krishan Pandita, M.L Pandita, M.L Akhoon, Mithan Pandita, Ram Krishan Bhat and C.L Pandita.
