JAMMU: Former Minister and General Secretary PCC, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma strongly condemned BJP over recent issue of mercilessly beating of Dalits in the State of Gujarat which wide spread the hatred against the wrong and anti-Dalit mentality of the BJP leadership countrywide.
In a statement issued here on Friday, Sharma strongly accused the BJP leader’s comments of Dayashanker in the UP State over BSP Supremo Mayawati which show the mentality of BJP towards the women, scheduled castes and downtrodden. They behave like Samants of older times and issue Farmans without going through the social and human values which shows that they are living in age of feudal lords and acting as Maharajas.
Dr Sharma recalled the previous incident of the charring to death of two Dalit children in the BJP rule State of Haryana, and said it is unfortunate that all the culprits are released on bail and moving freely without any fear of rule and law. Sharma further said that the BJP and its complete leadership including the workers of party are behaving like dictator and speaking arrogantly in public. Sharma also said that this shows the real face of BJP and its hidden agenda of Samanta Vadi thought acquired towards the Dalits and downtrodden for which the freedom fighters and social reformers have made supreme sacrifices to teach lesson of equality to the world community including modern Indian civilised society, but it is unfortunate that BJP is working to ruin the old Indian traditions.
