SAMBA: A scooty rider got killed on Friday after he was hit by a tipper at Rahya Morh in Vijaypur.
According to a report, Rattan Singh Bagal (70)son of Teg Singh resident of village Rahya (Vijaypur) district Samba on his scooty bearing registration number JK02U-2884 was hit by Ashoka Leyland tipper bearing registration number JK21A-3178 near Rahya Morh (Jakh) on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway under the jurisdiction of Vijaypur Police Station resulting in his death on the spot. On receiving the information, Vijaypur Police reached the spot and sent the body to Government Community Health Centre Ramgarh and after legal formalities the body was handed over to family members of deceased. Vijaypur Police has registered a case and arrested the driver of tipper.
