JAMMU: Forty days Shri Rudra-Abhishek Yagya organized by Shri Ranbireshwar Mahadev Hawan Mandli and Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee commenced here at Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir on Sunday. The Yagya began with Puja performed by former President Bar Association Jammu and senior Congress leader Advocate M.K Bhardwaj along with other members. Eleven Pandits have been engaged for the purpose of offering Puja. President Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee (SRMWC) Onkar Sharma said that the Yagya is being organised to pray for peace and prosperity in the country especially in J&K. He divulged that devotees of Shiv Temple are organising this Yagya in the temple premises for the last 10 years.
He said that Yagya will continue till Raksha Bandhan Day with simultaneous Bhandara organized especially for the Amarnath pilgrims.
He also informed that on 17th July SRMWC is installing new idol of Bhagwan Nandi Ji in the temple premises and all Jammuites are invited to take part in the function to take blessings of Lord Shiva.
