UDHAMPUR: Residents of Ramnagar locality held a protest against the Power Development Department in Ramnagar for its failure to restore power supply in their locality.
According to reports, large number of local residents of Ramnagar locality led by social worker Sanjeev Jandiyal held a protest against the department outside PDD complex till late night for its utter failure restore power supply in their locality of the last couple of days. Protestors also raised slogans against the department and urged the local administration and concerned department to ensure hassle free power supply.
Protestor said that few days back electric transformer installed in their locality but once again transformer gone off and department fails to get it replace or repaired. Sanjeev alleged that concerned JE and lineman is not serious about their duty and turning deaf ears towards people.
