REASI: Police on Saturday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 100 gms of Charas from his possession.
Acting on a specific information, a team of Police Post Talwara led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Kuldeep Singh recovered nine Chhallies (weighing 100 gms) of Charas from the possession of drug peddler namely Mohammad Rafiq, son of Mohammad Younis, resident of Kakra Tehsil Arnas District Reasi at Gujjar Kothi who was on way towards Talwara by foot. The accused person has been arrested and the Charas has also been seized. The operation was held under the supervision of Inspector Romal Singh, SHO Police Station Reasi, Sanjay Singh Rana, Additional SP Reasi and under the overall supervision of Sujit Kumar SSP Reasi,
In this connection a case vide FIR No. 14/2016 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi and investigation entrusted to Sub-Inspector Gurvinder Singh, Incharge Police Post Talwara.
