Police solves murder case in record time

SOPORE: The murder case of Dev Raj Sharma, son of Amaranth Sharma, resident of Akhnoor Jammu whose body was found in his rented room at Bafanda complex Shalpora Sopore on 15th January 2016 has been solved in record time.
Accused Muneer Ahmad Gujjar ( Chohan ), son of Ibrahim Gujjar, resident of Gujarpati Zaloora was arrested.
The accused was working at the deceased’s shop as assistant for the last 5-6 days. During the night of14th -15th January, they had arguments on some transactions which led to a scuffle and ultimately resulted into the murder of Dev Raj Sharma.
The accused after hitting Dev Raj on head and neck took away Rs 8,000 from deceased.
The case was solved in less than 24 hours due to vigorous efforts by Sopore Police.
