Contractors Association meets Dy. CM, highlights grievances

JAMMU: A delegation of Contractors Association of Estates Division Jammu led by Publicity Secretary, K.D Singh met Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh and apprised him about the problems being faced by them.
The delegation apprised the Dy CM that the Estate Department is not clearing their long pending dues which is causing lot of hardships to them. Singh mentioned that for the last 40 days the association members are sitting on Dharna but not even a single functionary from the Estates Department has come to resolve the issue. He said that they are facing financial crunch and their families are on the verge of starvation. They appealed to Dy. CM to help them to come out of the present crisis.
Nirmal Singh gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured them that their problems will be resolved at the earliest. He also spoke to Principal Secretary of CM, B.B Vyas and directed him to take necessary steps to solve the problems of Contractors Association of Estates Division.
The delegation comprised of Kuldeep Sharma, Parveen Singh, Ashwani Kohli, Bhuwneshwar Singh and Daljeet Singh.
