REASI: Police on Tuesday arrested two bootleggers and recovered 10 litres illicit liquor and 100 litres Lahan from their possession.
According to a report, a police patrolling party headed by Zaffar Iqbal Nawaz, SDPO Arnas conducted a raid in the houses of two illicit liquor smugglers namely Kuldeep Singh son of Krishan Singh and Avtar Singh son of Billu both resident of Jij Morah Gabran Tehsil Arnas District Reasi and five litres illicit liquor and 50 litres Lahan have been recovered from possession of each accused making in all 10 litres illicit liquor and 100 litres Lahan.
The accused persons have been arrested, liquor has also been seized and Lahan destroyed on spot. A case under FIR No. 42/2015 U/S 48-A Excise Act was registered at Police Station Arnas.
