POONCH: A Gurmat Samagam was organised at Gurdwara Yadgaar sant Bhai Bahadur Singh ji Dharamsal Kharhi on LOC near Chakan-da-Bagh Trade centre where SGPC Amritsar President Harjinder Singh Dhami and Vice President Rajinder Singh Mehta Senior Vice President, Army Officers and Civil officers of the administration paid obeisance besides a large number of Sangat.
Harcharn Singh Khalsa in his welcome address submitted a memorandum on behalf of Sikh Sangat to President SGPC Amritsar. He said that every year the management committee of Dehri Sahib organises 40 days long Gurmat Samagam which culminates on Ist or 2nd Sunday of July . This year Samagam was dedicated to 400 Parkash Purb celebration of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji . During this Samagam different programmes were organised for the devotees of different organisations and age groups which include Istri Satsang, Missionary College, All India Sikh, Sikh Youths, Summer Gurmat Sikhlayi Camp, and Medical Camp for children.
In this programme Hazoori Raagi Jatha of Bhai Devinder Singh ji from Darbar Sahib Amritsar recited Shabad Gurbani keertan . Harjinder Singh Dhami President SGPC Amritsar also addressed the Sangat and threw light on life history and sacrifices made by Guru Tegh Bahadur ji for religious tolerence and freedom of religious faith. He stressed the Sikh Sangat to follow the path shown by Sikh gurus and teachings of Guru Garanth Sahib ji . Rajinder Singh Mehta also addressed the sangat and urged sangat and youths to follow the teachings of great Gurus to serve humanity. Charanjeet Singh Khalsa Ex MLC also spoke on the occasion. In his concluding address Harcharan Singh Khalsa thanked the District Administration for full cooperation. Guru ka attut langar was also served on this occasion.
