Akhnoor: Pt Suresh Sharma, member District Development Council, on Tuesday inaugurated blacktopping work on Kallar to Laliya road with a cost of 18 lakhs, in the Panchayat Chowki of Block Chowki Chaura. Addressing the people, Suresh Sharma said that in the coming days, all the roads in the area will be made Pucca, there will be paved roads in every street and locality. The tender process of many roads has been completed, work will be started on those roads soon.
Apart from this, Suresh Sharma said that under PMGSY and NABARD, big projects of roads will be made in Block Maira Mandrian and Chowki Chaura, for which efforts are going on day and night, DPRs of some roads have been prepared and many are being prepared so that people will get ease in commuting and many villages will be connected with each other.
BDC Rahul Dev Sharma, BJP Mandal Pradhab Capt. BD Sharma, former Sarpanch Ramesh Sharma, engineers of the department and others were present.
