UDHAMPUR: The NSS Unit, in collaboration with Youth club of Government Degree College Neeli Nallah, Udhampur on the occasion of “World Blood Donor Day” organized symposium under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on Tuesday. The programme was organized under the guidance of Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Satinder Kaur. A large number of students participated in the programme. Dr. Satinder Kaur, Principal, appraised the students about the social, economic and health benefits of blood donation and told the students to motivate the community around them between 18-60 years of age for blood donation. She also congratulated the participants for their participation and interest volunteering for blood donation.
Prof. Swati Dutt, Dr. Radha Rani (NSS Programme Officer) and Prof. Shaista Yasmeen (Convener, Youth Club)were the organisers of the programme.The participants who participated in the symposium were Sakshi Devi, Ankush Kumar, Arun Kumar, Vishali Devi, Manisha dogra, Ashwani Sharma, Vishal and Sunali Devi.Later the certificates were given to the best speakers.
