SAMBA:Eight persons were injured in four road accidents at different locations of district Samba on Sunday.
In the first case one swift car which was on its way from Kathua to Jammu hit road side iron grills on Devak Bridge near Vijaypur on National Highway.
Three persons in the car were injured and later shifted to Government Emerg-ency Hospital Vijaypur.
In the second case, an unidentified truck hit a motorcycle on National Highway near Tarore, in which the motorcyclist and pillion rider were injured and rushed to Government Emergency Hospital Vijaypur. In the third case accident took place near Gurha Morh on National Highway when a scooty skidded off the road and the woman rider got injured. The injured woman was rushed to Government Emergency Hospital Vijaypur.
In the forth incident one tipper hit an old lady and a girl on Ramgarh road near Vijaypur injuring both of them. They were rushed to Government Emergency Hospital Vijaypur.
Out of these eight injured five were evacuated to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu. The police have registered the cases for investigation.
