8 injured in road accidents in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: Eight persons were injured in two different road accidents.
A Swift car bearing registration number JK01N/9519 driven by Umar Shafi resident of Barzulla, Srinagar was rammed with a tree near Green Tunnel Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to four persons including driver.
All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Bijbehara for treatment where from they were shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Santro car bearing registration number JK01K/9074 fell from Khazan Matti Bridge in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kralpora, Kupwara resulting in injuries to four persons Assad-ul-lah Ahangar, Mahtana Begum, Shafeeqa Begum, Ali Mohammad Ahangar, all residents of Reshipora Gund. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment. Kupwara Police has registered a case in this regard.
