MAHORE: Police on Wednesday foiled a bovine smuggling bid by rescuing eight bovines and arresting a smuggler.
According to a report, a team headed by ASI Nazir Ahmed, Incharge Police Post Dewal laid a Naka at Shadole Tehsil Mahore and rescued eight bovines from the possession of Ghulam Mohd son of Ahmedoo resident of village Ladd Tehsil Mahore. The accused person was carrying these bovines without any legal documents and intended to smuggle the same towards Kashmir. The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No.56/2017 under section 188 RPC was registered against him at Police Station Mahore.
