DODA: Youth Sarkoot to meet Kishtwar Warriors in the finals of sixth Police Martyrs Memorial (T-20) Cricket Tournament, organised by District Police Kishtwar under Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Chowgan Ground Kishtwar.
Earlier in the first semifinal played on Saturday, Youth Sarkoot defeated Bandarna Eleven by six wickets.
Elected to bat after winning the toss, Bandarna Eleven scored 131 runs for the loss of seven wickets in allotted 20 overs. In reply, Youth Sarkoot chased the target by losing four wickets. For Sarkoot, Tanvir scored 56 runs whereas Shubam took four wickets.
In second semifinal, Kishtwar Warriors outplayed Youth Kishtwar by 58 runs.
Batting first, Kishtwar Warriors scored a challengeable 177 runs in allotted 20 overs for the loss of four wickets. Henan Malik played a brilliant inning of 107 (not out). In reply, Youth Kishtwar could score only 119 runs for the loss of seven wickets in allotted 20 overs.
Additional SP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom besides other officers of District Police were present on the occasion.
