BUDGAM: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Mir Altaf Ahmad a team of revenue officers headed by Tehsildar Budgam on Saturday undertook a special anti encroachment drive in many areas of Tehsil Budgam. The team during the operation retrieved about 6 Kanals of encroached land, besides the team also demolished one illegal under construction residential structure.
Speaking regarding the drive, the Deputy Commissioner reiterated that district administration is making all out efforts to remove the illegal encroachments and retrieve back state land.
He said this drive has also been initiated in other parts of the district with more vigour and force, and all the concerned Tehsildars have been directed to initiate strict action against offenders.
