MAHORE: Police on Thursday foiled a bovine smuggling by rescuing five bovines and arresting a smuggler.
According to a report, a specific information was received at Police Station Mahore that some persons were on way along with bovines towards Kashmir valley via Tuksan Angralla without any legal permission. On this, a police team from Police Station Mahore and SPP Ladh led by Inspector Salim Altaf Raina, SHO Police Station Mahore laid a special Naka at Tuksan and rescued five bovines from the possession of Mohd Sadiq son of Billoo resident of Shikari Tehsil Mahore District Reasi. The accused person has been arrested and a case vide FIR No.74/2016 under section 188 RPC was registered at Police Station Mahore.
