BHADARWAH: Police foiled a bovines smuggling bid on Friday by rescuing 47 bovines from the clutches of smuggler.
According to a report, acting on a tip-off specific information, a police team intercepted Musroom Ali son of Taj Din resident of R S Pura Jammu at present Chilli Dhar(Grassland) and rescued 47 bovines at Chilli Nalla an official said. A case under FIR NO 136/2014 section 188/379 RPC was registered in Police Station Bhadarwah and further probe was on in the matter, police said.
