MIRANSAHIB: Police on Sunday arrested four gamblers and recovered Rs 4,950 as stake money from the gambling spot.
According to a report, a party of Police Station Miransahib led by SHO Mohd Iqbal conducted a raid at Kotli and arrested four gamblers identified as Surjeet Kumar son of Charan Dass, Inderjeet son of Babu Ram, Rajesh Kumar son of Tilak Raj and Baldev Kumar son of Bira, all residents of Mehmoodpur along with stake money of Rs 4,950 from the spot. Police has booked all of them under section 13 Gambling Act.
