JAMMU: The Divisional Forest Officer, Eco-Task Force project Jammu, has informed that about 3500 saplings have been planted on the central median of 7.5 km stretch of the National Highway from Narwal Chowk to Sidhra.
The project that started from January 2013 is showing good results as plants have put up good growth with flowering. The plantation has been handed over to NHAI for maintenance of the stretch on 15 December, 2014.
