JAMMU: On the last day of filing of nominations today, in all 218 candidates have filed their papers for the fifth phase of Assembly elections to be held on 20th December, 2014 covering 20 constituencies spread over three districts of Jammu, Kathua and Rajouri.
In Bani Assembly Constituency, 11 candidates have filed their nominations which include Lal Chand (Independent), Pawan Dev Singh (JKNPP), Pishori Lal (Independent), Ghulam Hyder Malik (NC), Ramzan Hussain (BSP), Mohd Rafiq (Independent), Mohd Salim Lone (PDP), Jewan Lal (BJP), Deep Kumar (Independent), Rajnish Sharma (INC) and Madan Lal (Independent).
In Basohli Assembly Constituency, 15 candidates have filed their nominations which include, Kanta Andotra (BJP), Lal Singh (BJP), Parvez Ahmed Reza (Independent), Romesh Chander Gupta (JKNPP), Jagdish Raj Spolia (INC), Rajinder Kumar (Independent), Rangil Singh (PDP), Khadam Hussain Wani (BSP), Shams Deen (Independent), Davinder Singh (NC), Brijeshwar Singh (Independent), Darshan Kumar (Independent), Charan Das (Independent), Jagdish Chander (Independent) and Ashwini Kumar (Independent).
In Kathua Constituency, 22 candidates have filed their nomination which include, Balbir Singh (JKNPP), Charanjit Singh (Ind), Som Raj Majotra (BSP), Som Datt Shastri (Ind), Naresh Kumar Sharma (Ind), Kasturi Lal (BMP), Sudesh Kumar (Ind), Jatinder Singh Alias Babu Singh (INC), Rajiv Jasrotia (BJP), Romesh Kumar (BJP), Subash Chander (PDP), Neelam Sharma (PDP), Robin Ramkrishan alias Robin Sharma (Ind), S.Jameet Singh (Ind), Gurnam Singh (J&K Kissan Mazdoor Party), Manoj Kumar (CPI), Sunil Majotra (BSP), Om Parkash (Ind), Harish Chander Sharma (Ind), Kishor Kumar (JKNC), Rajesh Kumar (Ind) and Dewan Chand (Ind).
In Billawar Constituency, 10 candidates have filed their nomination papers which include Mahmood Hussain (Ind), Ravinder Singh (JKNPP), Jatinder Singh (PDP), Sanjeev Khajuria (NC), Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh (BJP), Sham Lal Gupta (Ind), Naresh Kumar (BSP), Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma (INC), Mulkh Raj (Ind) and Mohinder Singh (NCP).
In Hiranagar Constituency, 14 candidates have filed their nomination papers which include Bansi Lal Kandley (Ind), Girdhari Lal Chalotra (INC), Suraj Parkash (PDP), Puran Chand (BSP), Raj Kumari (BSP), Chandu Ram (NC), Ram Dass (NC), Jagdish Raj (JKNPP), Balbir Singh (Ind),Ravail Singh (Ind), Kuldeep Raj (BJP), Simmi Devi (BJP), Dheer Chand (Ind) and Prem Nath Hansa (Ind).
In Nagrota Constituency, seven Candidates have filed their nomination papers which include, Shiv Dev Singh (INC), Rakesh Wazir (BSP), Vilakshana Singh (J&KNPP), Nand Kishore (BJP), Riyaz Ahmed (J&K People’s Conference), Bansi Lal ( All J&K Mazdoor Kissan Party), and Ch. Hussain Wafa (PDP).
In Gandhi Nagar Constituency, eight candidates have filed their nomination papers which include Prabodh Chander Sharma (Independent), Ravinder Singh (BSP), Gourav Kapoor (NCP), Kavinder Gupta, (BJP), Madhu Bala (Independent), Surinder Singh Bunty (NC) , Amrik Singh (PDP) and Neeraj Kumar(Independent Bhartiya Chaitanya Party)
In Jammu East Constituency, four candidates filed their nomination papers, which include Kasturi Lal Gupta (Independent), Rajesh Gupta (BJP), Vikram Malhotra (INC) and Sanjeev Gupta (Ind).
In Jammu West Constituency, 10 candidates have filed their nomination papers which include Sanjay Gupta (Independent), Mohinder Kumar (BSP), Anil Kumar Dhar (Independent), Sat Paul Sharma (BJP), Sarv Daman Bhasin (PDP), Puneet Jamwal (Substitute candidate of PDP), Uday Chand (Independent), Kuldeep Magotra (Substitute candidate of BJP), Ghani Sham (Ind) and Surinder Singh Shingari (INC).
In Bishnah Constituency, 10 candidates have filed their nomination papers, which include Bharat Bushan (BSP), Bimal Devi Mottan (Samajwadi Party), Krishan Kumar Digra (NCP), Rampal Khajuria (Independent), Faqir Chand (PDP), Vicky Kumar Dogra (Bahujan Mukti Party), Kamal Arora (NC), Ashwani Kumar Sharma (BJP), Gulchain Singh Charak (INC) and Ganshyam Sharma (Panthers Party).
In RS Pura Constituency (SC), 10 candidates have filed their nomination papers, which include Kuldeep Raj (Independent), B.R Kundal (Independent), Ajaib Singh Mottan (BSP), Pargat Singh (Independent), Dr. Gagan Bhagat (BJP), Bhushan Lal (PDP), Romesh Lal Mottan (NC), Devinder Singh (Ind), Suman Lata (INC) and Kesar Parveen (JKNPP).
In Suchetgarh Constituency nine candidates filled their nomination papers, which include Ranjit Singh (Independent), Bachan Lal Choudhary (Independent), Jeet Raj (Bahujan Mukti Party), Taranjit Singh Tony (NC), Sham Lal Choudhry (BJP), Bhupinder Singh (Ind), Rajinder Singh Chib (INC), Rajinder Singh (Ind) and Tarlok Singh (PDP).
In Marh Constituency, eight candidates have filed their nomination papers which include Ashok Kumar (BSP), Balwan Singh (INC), Vijay Kumar (Kissan Mazdoor Party (KMP), Sandeep Singh (NCP), Sukhnandan Kumar (BJP), Suram Singh (PDP), Vikram Singh (PDP), Vikas Choudhary (BJP) and Darshan Lal (Independent).
In Raipur Domana Constituency (SC), 12 candidates have filed their nomination papers which include Raj Kumar ( Independent), Harbans Lal Bhagat (Aam Admi Party), Bihari Lal (BSP), Ashok Kumar (BSP), Naresh Salgotra (Independent), Bali Bhagat (BJP), Mula Ram (INC), Sat Paul (NC) Chaman Lal (PDP), Jagdish Raj (PDP), Kuldeep Kumar (Bharatiya Bahujan Party) and Surjeet Kumar (Bharatiya Bahujan Party).
In Akhnoor Constituency, five candidates have filed their nomination papers which include Raj Kumar (BSP), Sham Lal Sharma (INC), Pardeep Kumar Pateyar (All J&K Kissan Mazdoor Party), Dev Raj (PDP) and Ashok Kumar (PDP).
In Chhamb Constituency (SC), 8 candidates have filed their nomination papers which include Subash Chander (All J&K Kissan Mazdoor Party), Dr. Krishan Lal (BJP), Madan Lal (PDP), Bishan Lal (PDP), Shakti Bala (NC), Bhajan Lal (NC), Janak Raj (J&KNPP) and Skinder Lal (J&KNPP).
In Nowshera Assembly Constituency, 11 Candidates have filed their nominations which include, Ravinder Kumar (BJP), Radhey Sham Sharma (NC), Yash Paul (NPP), Rajinder Kumar (Independent), Haq Nawaz (BSP), Vijay Kumar Bali (HJP), Ravinder Kumar Sharma (INC), Surinder Kumar Choudhary (PDP), Pankaj Kumar Raina (Independent), Surinder Kumar (Independent) and Ashwani Kumar Sharma (Independent).
In Darhal Assembly Constituency, 15 Candidates have filed their nominations which include, Sheraz Begum (BSP), Thakur Puran Singh (BJP), Mubarak Shah (BJP), Mohd Rakiz (JKNPP), Manir Hussain (Independent), Nazir Hussain (Independent), Ch. Naseem Liaqat (Independent), Rafaqat Ajaz (Hindustan Karanti Kari Dal), Ch. Liaqat Ali (JKNC), Ch. Zulfkar Ali (JKPDP), Manzoor Hussain Shah (PDP), Mohd Iqbal Malik (INC), Er. Rafaqat Ajaz Choudary (Hindustan KrantiKari Dal), Ghulam Header Atish (Independent) and Abdul Manaf (Independent).
In Rajouri Constituency, 18 candidates have filed their nomination which include, Istkhar Ali Ahmed (Ind), Shabir Ahmed Khan (INC), Mirza Abdul Rashid (NC), Layqit Ali (Ind), Aftab Majid (Ind), Mohammad Farooq (Ind), Sharafat Ali (BSP), Ghulam Mustafa (Ind), Qamar Hussain (PDP), Ghulam Rasool (Ind), Maqsood Ajaz (Ind), Ghulam Mustafa (JKNPP), Yog Raj (Ind), Chowdhary Talib Hussain (BJP), Rajinder Gupta (Ind), Nazir Ahmed Ganai (Ind), Zaheer Ahmed (Ind) and Mohd Ishtiaq (Ind).
In Kalakote Constituency, 11 candidates have filed their nomination which include, Ashok Kumar Sharma (INC), Rachpaul Singh (JKNC), Mohd Yaqoob (INC), Abdul Ghani Kohli (BJP), Wasim Kohli (BJP), Asad Bari Shah (PDP), Majid Hussain Shah (PDP), Mohd Rafiq (BSP), Ashok Kumar (Ind), Mahesh Kumar Sharma (Ind) and Mohd Akmal(JKNPP).
The scrutiny of the papers would be held on December 4th and 6th December is the last day for withdrawal of nomination papers.
