RAJOURI: Police on Saturday arrested two thieves and recovered stolen motorcycle on their disclosure.
According to a report, On 7th February 2017 one Chain Singh son of Balak Ram resident of Badhal at present staying at Koteranka lodged a written complaint at Police Station Kandi mentioning that during intervening night of 25th -26th January 2017 some unknown thieves stole his motorcycle (Pulsar-150 CC) bearing registration No. HR20AD-1596 which was parked outside the rented house at Koteranka. In this regard, a case FIR No.08/2017 under section 379 RPC was registered at Police Station Kandi and investigation was started. During investigation two suspected persons of the area namely Zaffer Iqbal son of Mohd Rafiq resident of Larkoti at present Kheora and Gulzar Hussain son of Shah Mohd resident of Hubbi Tehsil Koteranka were picked up and during questioning they confessed the theft and on their disclosure police party of Police Station Kandi led by SHO Police Station Kandi SI Jhangeer Ahmed under the close supervision of SSP Rajouri Mohd Suleman Choudhary, recovered the stolen motorcycle from Kheora Rajouri and further investigation is going on.
