19 officers promoted to Time Scale, 14 to Selection Grade, six to Special Scale of JKAS

JAMMU: The government on Friday appointed (by promotion) of the 19 officers of departmental feeding services to the Time Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) while 14 Time Scale officers to the Selection Grade and six Selection Grade to the Special Scale of JKAS/
“In terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service Rules, 2008, sanction is accorded to the appointment (by promotion) of 12 officers of departmental feeding services to the Time Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service [(Level 11 (67700-208700)], notionally from January 1, 2023 and on regular basis from July 18, 2023,” reads an order issued by Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner/Secretary, General Administration Department.
Consequently, it is ordered that the aforesaid officers shall continue at their present places of posting (s), till further orders.
As per order, the officers including Naeem-ul-Rehman Mughal, Shahzada Noor-ul-Ain, Abhishek Chandra Vaidya, Hamidullah Mir, Srinath Suman, Zafar Ahmad Lone, Jyoti Raina, Mohammad Ayub Dar, Phoola Raina, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, Harvinder Singh and Yasmeen Jan.
As per another order, sanction is accorded to the promotion of Mehmood Ahmad Shah, JKAS to the Super Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in pay level 14 (Rs. 144200-218200), with effect from July 18, 2023.
“Sanction is accorded to the promotion of seven Junior Scale officers to the Time Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in pay level 11 (Rs. 67700-208700), with effect from January 1, 2023, on notional basis and on regular basis from July 18, 2023,” reads another order.
As per order, the Junior Scale officers include Mushtaq Ahmad Maqdoomi, Ajay Salaan, Amit Kumar, Kailash Devi, Om Parkash, Chander Kant Bhagat, and Manmeet Kumar.
As per another order, sanction is accorded to the promotion of 12 Time Scale officers to the Selection Grade of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in pay level 12 (Rs. 78800-209200), with effect from July 18, 2023. They include Naresh Kumar, Fareed Ahmad Kohli, Suhail Ahmad, Mita Kumari, Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhary, Rigzin Spalgon, Gulzar Ahmad, Jasmeet Singh, Shaheena Khan, Saleem Beigh, Babu Ram Tandon, and Kulraj Singh.
Sanction is hereby accorded to the promotion of two Time Scale officers to the Selection Grade of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in pay level 12 (Rs.78800-209200).
As per order, Akhtar Hussain Qazi has been promoted with effect from February 17, 2020 on notional basis and on regular basis from July 18, 2023 while Anil Kumar Thakur has been promoted with effect from August 9, 2021 on notional basis and on regular basis from July 18, 2023.
Sanction is accorded to the promotion of six Selection Grade officers namely Joginder Singh Rai, Ranjeet Singh, Surender Mohan Sharma, Tashi Dolma, Deep Raj and Champa Devi to the Special Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in pay level 13 (Rs. 123100-215900), with effect from July 18, 2023.
