SRINAGAR: With speculations high about massive reshuffle in civil and police administration, the State Cabinet on Thursday approved several transfers at the higher and middle rung bureaucracy.
However, orders could not be issued as the Chief Secretary B R Sharma was busy with a security related meeting, according to sources.
Sources informed that Baseer Khan has been posted as Divisional Commissioner Kashmir vise Dr. Asgar H Samoon, who will be Transport Commissioner.
Addl DDC Kathua, Manmohan Singh has been transfsred and posted as Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Tasaduq Jeelani has been posted as Director CA&PD ( Kashmir), Gazanfar Ali as Director Rural Development Department Kashmir vise Tasaduq Jeelani. Mohammad Ashraf Mir has been posted as Revenue Commissioner vise Mohammad Afzal who has been posted as Commissioner-Secretary Law Department.
Tariq Zargar has been approved for transfer as Dy. Commissioner Kupwara, Arshad Ayoub as Special Secretary to Chief Secretary while Zubair Ahmad will be Special Secretary Home department. (Magarkote) District Ramban along with creation of five posts for the said court including one post of Judicial Magistrate, one post of Head Assistant, one post of Reader/Steno-Typist, one post of Junior Assistant and one post of orderly.
Create/re-designating posts in Wildlife department
The Cabinet accorded sanction to the creation of one post of Deputy Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), Selection Grade in the pay band of Rs 15600-39100+GP of 7600, creation of four posts of Deputy Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) in the pay band of Rs 15600-39100+GP of 6600 by corresponding reduction of 5 posts of Assistant Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) in the pay band of Rs 9300-3400+GP of 4800 and re-designating of remaining posts of Assistant Wildlife Warden and equivalent as Assistant Conservator of Forests (Wildlife).
13 BDOs/DPOs transferred
JAMMU: The Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department on Thursday transferred 13 Block Development Officers (BDOs) and District Panchyat Officers (DPOs).
Rakesh Dubey, BDO Ramgarh Samba has been posted as DPO Kishtwar, Syed Naseer Ahmad, BDO Phaloo Pulwama as DPO Shopian, Yar Ali Khan, BDO Mandi, Poonch as DPO Rajouri, Sonam Chosjar, BDO Khalsi, Leh as DPO Kargil, Mehraj ud Din, BDO Srinagar as DPO Baramulla vice Hakeem Tanvir, who has been posted at DPO Kupwara. He will hold the additional charge of PO, IWMP Kupwara in addition to his own duties till further orders.
Majid Jehangir, BDO Poonch has been posted as DPO Ramban, Nasrul Hilal Jeri, BDO Keller, Shopian as DPO Pulwama, Aijaz Qaiser, BDO Bari Brahamana as DPO Samba relieving Pardeep Singh Manhas PO, IWMP Samba of the additional charge.
Sandeem Senointra, BDO Udhampur has been posted as DPO Udhampur, Gh. Mohammad, BDO Shakir Chikten, Kargil as DPO Leh, Pardeep Kumar, DPO Kishtwar as DPO Kathua and Zubair Shah PO, IWMP Poonch will hold the additional charge of DPO Poonch in addition to his own duties till further orders.
