The students community which is completely dependent on mobile internet services have been eagerly awaiting resumption of services and groping in the dark. Each day we wake up hoping the state government would order resumption of mobile internet services but the same has not been done, said Pallav Mahajan awaiting to join his college in NIT Srinagar.
Pallav claimed as per original schedule we were told to report in the campus between July 22-26 but in the absence of conducive atmosphere the same has been extended to August 1 to August 8.
Pallav said in the absence of internet services we were not receiving any authentic information On Tuesday I requested one of my neighbors having broad band connection at their home to check whether any notification has been uploaded on the website. Pallav said he along with his friends who are also joining the college felt relieved as the date of joining has been extended.
Similarly, businessmen who have shifted their entire business model and rely on internet services have been feeling the pinch of the suspension.
