RAMBAN: An unidentified male body aged around 40 was found around 200 feet below NH 44 near Kunfer Bridge Chanderkote, today.
According to police after getting information a police party of police station Chanderkote under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ramban Mushtaq Choudhary visited and inspected the spot.
Officials said that the body bore injury marks and also blood stains were spotted on the road and the cause of the death is suspicious.
The body was shifted to District Hospital (DH) Ramban for identification and postmortem to be performed thereafter. Proceedings u/s 174 C r. PC have been initiated at Police Station Chanderkote.
Later the dead body was identified as that of Manoj Kumar son of Manohar Lal resident of Ganga Nagar, Rajasthan.
