UDHAMPUR: A youth attempted suicide by consuming poisonous substance in his house at Chenani in Udhampur.
According to a report, 17 years Kuldeep Kumar son of Parkash Chand resident of Chenani in Udhampur took some poisonous substance in his house to end his life.
On seeing victim lying unconscious, his family members shifted him to nearby SDH Chenani where from he was further referred to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors washed his stomach and condition of the victim was stated be stable. Police has registered a case for investigation.
