JAMMU: Jaideep Manocha, Ishuk Choudhary and Abhishek Goswami on Tuesday made it to the pre-quarterfinals stages of the ongoing 6-Ball Red State Open Snooker Tournament under the banner of J and K Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
In their second outings, these senior players defeated their opponents in close contests. While Jaideep beat Nikhil Kapahi 3-1 (41-18, 29-53, 41-11, 42-18), Ishuk trounced Shivam in similar fashion 3-1 (15-31, 34-14, 45-12, 51-20). Abhishek Goswami won his game against Kashif 3-2 (36-11, 12-25, 36-06, 22-31, 35-28).
A couple of other matches were in progress when the last reports were filed.
