SAMBA: In two separate road accidents over 16 persons were injured in Ramgarh and Vijyapur areas of Samba District.
According to a report, an accident occurred late night around 11:45 PM when a mini bus bearing registration No. JK02AP-8855 on its way from border village Nanga to Dabbad of Bishnah Tehsil carrying Baratis rolled down from road near Police Nakka Chack Slarian on Vijaypur-Ramgarh Road under the jurisdiction Ramgarh Police, resulting in injuries to 14 persons.
Nakka Police in-Charge Hav. Darshan Kumar along with police team reached the spot and shifted all the injured at Govt. Emergency Hospital Vijaypur from where the doctors referred them GMC Jammu after first aid.
All the injured have been identified as Priyanka (18) daughter of Bachan Lal, Sita Devi (42) wife of Bachan Lal, Bachan Lal (48) son of Jumma Ram, Amandeep (19) son of Subash Chander, Danish (4) son of Darshan Lal all residents of village Chohala (R S Pura), Tarsem Lal (44) son of Shaillo Ram of Talard, Shiv Dyal (22) son of Jumma Ram of Talard, Shamsher (60) son of Bhulla Ram of Pindi Charakan, Sanchin (13) son of Tarsem Lal of Deoli, Parkasho Devi (45) wife of Tarsem Raj of Lalyana, Raj Kumar (32) son of Shiv Ram of R S Pura and Urmila Kumari (30) wife of Sikander Kumar of Miran Sahib. Police has registered the case in this connection for further investigation.
Meanwhile, two motorcyclists were injured near Sabzi Mandi Vijaypur on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway when an unknown vehicle hit them near a turning when they were on motorcycle bearing registration no.JK02S-6743 on their way from Vijaypur to Samba. The locals rushed both to Govt. Emergency Hospital Vijaypur from where the doctors referred them to GMC Jammu being critical. Both the injured were identified as Sheetal Kumar (28) and Sanjeev Kumar (32) sons of Sidhu Ram resident of village Rattan Pur (Ramgarh). Vijaypur Police has registered the case in this connection.
