BHADARWAH: Police on Wednesday foiled bovine smuggling by rescuing 16 bovines from the clutches of bovines smugglers.
According to a report, a party of Operation Group Bhatta Dessa under the jurisdiction of Police Station Dessa laid a Naka at Bhassamgalla area and rescued 16 bovines the boundary with District Anantnag Kashmir.
It was only due to strenuous efforts of District Police Doda that all the 16 bovines were rescued from the clutches of bovine smugglers before crossing the boundary of District Anantnag in Kashmir Valley.
A case under FIR No. 13/2014 section188 RPC, 3 PC Act was registered at Police Station Dessa and investigation is going on
