SRINAGAR: In a shocking incident, a teenage allegedly strangulated her younger sister to death in Sopore area on Monday.
Mehak (14) strangled her sister Muskaan (9) to death during a quarrel at their home in Arampora area of Sopore.
The victim was rushed to Sub-district hospital Sopore where she was declared dead. Police said, the scuffle between the sisters took place out over a trivial issue when there was no other family member in their home.
Sources, however, said “The two sisters fought over some issue following which one committed suicide.” FIR has been registered and investigation has been set in motion.
