JAMMU: To pay tributes to the Martyrs of Pathankot terrorists attack, the members of J and K Freedom Fighters Association (JKFFA) assembled at Dogra Shaurya Sthal, Amphalla under the chairmanship of Ved Gandotra, the President of the Association.
Candles were lit in their memory and National Anthem was chanted amid tributes. Two minutes silence was observed in the memory of Lt. Col. Niranjan, Subedar Fateh Singh, Corporal Gursewak Singh, Hav. Kulwant Singh, Hav. Sanjeevan Singh Rana, Jagdish Chand and Mool Chand.
Speaking on the occasion, the members condemned the attack on the Air-Force Station by the terrorists and asked the Central Government to retaliate in a solid manner so that no body dares to repeat it.
The members said that the terrorism has no religion, therefore, the bodies of terrorists should be cremated, as the dream of their meeting with the ‘Hoors’ in the heaven may be shattered and the others shun violence.
They also suggested that Narender Modi and Nawaz Sharief may join hands and jointly initiate flush -out operations against the terrorists and destroy their camps in PoK and in Pakistan.
The members prayed for the eternal peace to the Martyrs and prayed the Almighty to give courage to families of the soldiers to bear this shock and assured that whole of the nation was with them.
Meanwhile, the Freedom Fighters Association along with leaders of other organisations condoled the demise of J and K Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. The members prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and expressed heartfelt sympathy with Mehbooba Mufti and other members of family to bear the irreparable loss.
The prominent person were present included Rajiv Mahajan, State President Shri Ram Sena, Pritam Sharma, Kranti Dal, Ram Rattan Raina, Sangram Sena, Gajan Singh, State Akali Dal, Brij Mehra, Jammu Pragti Manch, Rajinder Singh, J and K Sikh Progressive Front, Parbhahat Kapahi and Tej Ram Dogra.
