Jammu: Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Police on Tuesday arrested three narco smugglers and recovered 18 gm heroin at a Naka near Ghoda Chowk, Nanak Nagar.
As per the details, a team of Police Station Gandhi Nagar under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma led by SHO Gandhi Nagar Inspr Pankaj Sharma while on Naka duty at Ghoda Chowk Nanak Nagar rounded up three suspects. On search, 18 gm heroin was recovered from them. The accused identified as Raju Massi, son of Kashmir Massi, resident of Gurdaspur; Aditiya Partap alias Munna, son of Mohan Singh, resident of Nanak Nagar and Vasu Sharma, son of Rakesh Kumar Sharma, resident of Gandhi Nagar were arrested and FIR No. 126/2022 under sections 8/21/22 of NDPS Act was registered against them at Police Station Gandhi Nagar.
