DODA: In compliance to J and K State Legal Service Authority, a Pre- Lok Adalat was organized at TLSC headquarter Court Complex Doda for the cases pertaining to the electricity under the chairman ship O.P Thakur Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee (CJM Doda) assistance by Arun Kotwal Additional Special Mobile Doda, Pradyot Gupta Assistant Labour Commissioner Doda.
In the said Lok Adalat 22 cases pertaining to pre-litigation cases were taken up, out of which a total no of 6 pre-litigation cases and 5 Labour cases were settled and an award amounting to Rs. 12,44,878 was recovered on spot and same was distributed thorough bank checks as delayed wages under payment of wages act 1936 . In this pre- Lok Adalat and large number of litigants public, advocates, social workers, journalist participated.
