BUDGAM: According to District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO), Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza, 10 candidates viz. DDC-06, Sarpanch-02 and Panch-02 have withdrawn their candidature on Monday on last date for withdrawal of candidature for phase 1st at Khansahib.
Among 173 nominations for DDC, vacant seats of Panchayat by-election only 163 candidates viz DDC-11, Sarpanch-11 and Panch- 141 are in fray.
