10 vehicles Challaned for traffic rule violations

BHAMLA : The Reasi Police on Thursday Challaned ten vehicles for violation of traffic rules during a police Naka held at Bhamla.
A police team headed by Incharge Police Post Bhamla, Sub Inspector Ved Parkash under the supervision of SSP Reasi Vivek Gupta and SP Sanjay Singh Rana laid a police naka at Bhamla on Jammu – Poonch National Highway and checked the vehicles including passenger buses, tempo trevellers and other light vehicles.
The police team Challaned 10 vehicles for overloading, playing music, talking on mobile phone while driving, non-wearing of uniform, not using seat belts and not wearing helmet in the case of two wheelers.
Incharge Police Post Bhamla while talking to Convener WECARE Society Sushil Sharma said that the drive has been launched on the directions of SSP Reasi in view of the increasing rate of accidents on National Highway.
