10 callers register grievances in Prayas
KATHUA: Under the weekly meeting of Prayas as many as 10 callers today registered their grievances here at DC office complex in Kathua on Wednesday.
Pertinent to mention here that District Administration of Kathua has initiated a unique Grievances Registration and Redressal Mechanism ‘Prayas’ under which any citizen can register grievance before the District Development Commissioner Kathua by just one telephone call from their respective dwellings . A dedicated telephone number 01922-238796 has been installed for taking PRAYAS calls every Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Additional District Development Commissioner Kathua, Narinder Singh Bali in the presence of heads of various line and works departments took calls in an hour long session. ADDC issued instructions to the concerned departments to attend to the grievances and problems registered by the callers. The problems projected by the callers from different parts of the district were mostly related to the provisions of basic amenities.
