POONCH: Poonch Police team headed by Dy SP Headquarters Mohan Lal laid nakas at Bus Stand and Nakhanwali Road on Saturday and critically checked all the vehicles passing through the area. The team seized 10 motorcycles and five tractors for not having the valid documents.
The team also Challaned 80 vehicles for overloading, driving two wheelers without helmet, tripling on two wheelers, using mobile while driving, rash driving and other violations of traffic norms. The police team also comprised of SHO Poonch Jatinder Raina.
Meanwhile District Traffic Inspector Sadaqat Hussain along with his team also conducted Nakas at Sher-e-Kashmir Bridge, Khanetar, Mangnar, Chandak and other places. The team challaned 50 vehicles and realised a fine of Rs 15,000 from the defaulters.
The team also seized four tractors which were plying without valid papers.
