Zulfkar for naming BGSBU Nursing College after Mufti Mohd Sayeed

RAJOURI: Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali pirched for opening of IIM at Rajouri besides projected naming BGSBU Nursing College after the name of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Addressing mammoth gathering on the occasion of foundation laying ceremony of Medical College in Mehra Rajouri in presence of Chief Minister, Central and State Ministers, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali said that it is big responsibility of the Jammu leadership to consider Pir Panjal region as part of Jammu and come forward to grant due share to these areas whose people have lost everything during three wars with Pakistan. He said that if AIIMS and IIT are being opened in Jammu let IIM be opened in Rajouri adding that people of this region are feeling neglected as every big institution of the province is being opened in Jammu and surrounding areas. He said that there is need to take the people of Rajouri Poonch on board while deciding on big issues of province.
Thanking former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for his role of opening and operationalsing Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University at Rajouri, Zulfkar said that before demise, Mufti wanted to lay foundation of Nursing Colleges of BGSBU but unfortunately this could not happen and now Nursing College for BGSBU has got approval. He suggested that the College should be named as Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Nursing college which will be a tribute to this great leader who was very committed to open these under BGSBU.
Thanking Centre and State Government for giving medical college in his region, Zulfkar said that Mufti enquired hundrend times in 10 months about this college and also granted immediate approval in cabinet for land transfer. He said that people of this region will always remember his contribution to the area. He on the occasion demanded to start classes in the college as earlier as possible. He also projected for filing up of vacant posts of doctors in the district.
During the programme, minister handed over memorandum of demands to Chief Minister and Central Health Minister besides Minister of State PMO in which he project to connect BGSBU and Medical College by constructing Palma Nagrotra BGSBBU link which is only 3 kilometer distance and will benefit thousands of people.
Zulfkar also projected to Union Health Minister to provide funding for opening of 200 Sub Centres in his area which is lagging behind in proper heath care services. He also projected AMT School or Nursing College for Budhal and opening of Mobile Heath Centres for nomads who are facing hardships due to lack of medicare facilities in pastures.
