JAMMU: The government on Wednesday posted Zulfikar Azad as Superintendent, Central Jail Srinagar.
“Sanction is accorded to the deputation of Zulfikar Azad, (JKPS:2001), Assistant Director, SKPA Udhampur, to the Prisons Department, on the standard terms and conditions of deputation, as laid down in Schedule XVIII of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Regulations, 1956, Vol-I,” reads an order issued by Raj Kumar Goyal, Financial Commissioner/Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department.
Consequently, the order stated, Zulfikar Azad has been posted as Superintendent, Central Jail Srinagar. “The salary of the Officer shall be drawn by the Police Headquarters, J&K, from the overall cadre strength of JKPS, on receipt of monthly attendance certificate from the Prisons Department,” it added.
