Zorawar releases Arushi’s child care book ‘Raising Them Right’

JAMMU: A graceful and thought-provoking book launch ceremony was held at the Press Club Jammu to unveil “Raising Them Right – One Moment at a Time”, authored by Arushi Mahajan – a distinguished educationist, dedicated parent advocate, and devoted mother.

The book, which presents a compelling blend of personal narratives, practical strategies, and mindful parenting reflections, seeks to resonate with modern families striving to balance affection, discipline, and intentional child-rearing.
The event was graced by Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Chairman of Team Jammu, as the Chief Guest. Rajesh Rathore (Principal, JK Public School Kunjwani) and Parshant Sharma (Managing Director, GD Goenka Public School Akhnoor) attended as Guests of Honour. Among the Special Guests were Brij Mohan (renowned Music Composer & Writer) and Tarun Sharma (Founder & President, Nat Manch), all of whom praised the book’s theme and relevance.
Mahajan personally welcomed the dignitaries to the stage, followed by a ceremonial presentation of tokens of appreciation. The official unveiling of the book by the assembled dignitaries served as the symbolic highlight of the occasion.
During her author address, Mahajan remarked, “This book isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence – being truly there for your child, for yourself, and for the moments that matter. I hope it serves as a companion to every parent navigating the beautiful chaos of raising children.”
An emotionally resonant paper reading by Rajesh Rathore brought to life one of the book’s most impactful chapters, offering the audience a heartfelt preview of the content.
In his remarks, Chief Guest Zorawar Singh Jamwal commended the author’s timely contribution, stating, “This work arrives at a crucial moment when parenting challenges are increasingly complex. It provides not only practical guidance but also empathy and encouragement for contemporary families.”
