Zorawar, Katra Clubs win in Reasi T20

REASI: Zorawar Cricket Club (ZCC) Reasi and Katra Cricket Club registered wins and move into the next round of the ongoing District Reasi T20 Cricket Tournament, organised by District Police at Sports Stadium, here on Thursday.
In the first match, ZCC Reasi thrashed Kalika Cricket Club Reasi easily by eight wickets.
Earlier, batting first, Kalka Club managed to score 128 run for the loss of two wickets in the stipulated 15 overs.
Vinu and Anil were the main scorers with 40 runs off 30 balls and 37 runs off 35 balls respectively while Vidhur added 16 runs to the total. Extras also contributed 36 runs to the total. Nitin and Shabad claimed one wicket each for ZCC Reasi.
In reply, ZCC Reasi rode on superb knocks by Movein (53 off 36 balls), Rahil (30 off 25 balls) and Nitin (20 off six balls) chased the target in 13 overs by losing only two wicket, thus won the match by eight wickets. For Kalika Club, Kundal and Goutam shared one wicket each. Kalika Club also gave 22 extra runs. Movein of ZCC was adjudged Man of the Match for his match winning knock. Senior Citizen, Ghulam Nabi Malik, was the Chief Guest in first match who was introduced with players prior to start of match. The match was officiated by Surinder Singh and Balbir Singh as Umpire while Aman acted as Scorer.
In another match, Katra Cricket Club made it six-wicket win against Mahore (Bagga) Cricket Club. Batting first after winning the toss, Mahore (Bagga) Cricket Club scored 146 runs (19 extras) in 15 overs for the loss of three wickets. Sunny Malik was main batsman, who scored brilliant 101 runs knock off 58 balls, while Mehraan and Wasim Mailk added 15 and six runs respectively. For Katra Cricket Club, Sunil took two wickets while Ankush claimed one.
Later, Katra Cricket Club, in reply, chased the target making 150 runs for the loss of four wickets in 14 overs.
Ankush and Darshan with their best batting performance guided Katra Cricket Club to win the match. Ankush scored 42 off 24 balls while Darshan hit 36 off 18 balls. Raju also chipped in with 23 runs off 22 balls. For Mahore (Bagga) Cricket Club, Manzoor picked two wickets while Sunny grabbed one. For his all round display, Ankush was declared Man of the Match. Advocate Server Mir witnessed the second match as Chief Guest.
This match was officiated by Mohd Ashraf and Balbir Singh as Umpires while Micky acted as Scorer.
