JAMMU: Chairman of the Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal on Saturday urged upon all pro-Jammu forces to jointly fight those vested elements, which are hell bent to make Jammu as their colony with the brazen connivance of some power hungry politicians of this region.
Addressing the gathering after inaugurating office of Jammu Dogra Warriors-A group of youth raising pro-Jammu issues, here at Pacca Danga on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sakranti, Zorawar said that Jammu region is passing through a very crucial juncture of the history because those at the helm of the affairs are least concerned about fulfilling wishes and aspirations of the people of this region.
“Some forces are hell bent to make Jammu as their colony and unfortunately our politicians, for the lust of power, are extending helping hand to such forces to accomplish their nefarious designs”, he regretted and cautioned it was high time for all pro-Jammu groups to come together to frustrate such dangerous design to make people of Jammu as slaves.
Hoping that activists of Jammu Dogra Warriors under the leadership of its Chairman Varun Magotra would mobilise youth against anti-Jammu policies of the successive regimes, Zorawar said that all pro-Jammu forces must coordinate with each other at this point of time.
Pointing towards recent decision of the State Government to sanction ex-gratia relief worth Rs 5 lakh and a government jobs for those who were involved in agitation terrorism (stone pelting) in Kashmir Valley, Jamwal said that it was very dangerous decision which is aimed at demoralising security forces and giving premium to those who are involved in anti-national activities.
He observed that it was a big boost for those who have launched a war against Indian state and security forces in Kashmir Valley.
Magotra assured Team Jammu of supporting all pro-Jammu issues especially its crusade against drug menace.
He also said, “Premium to ‘agitation terrorists’ would be proved as turning point in the history of Jammu and Kashmir because this decision is going to boost morale of terrorism in Kashmir and would encourage more and more youth to attack security forces and the army in Valley”.
“Giving compensation to the family of those who were killed while fighting with the security forces would demoralise forces in the Valley,” Magotra pointed out.
