KUPWARA: As many as 86 Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates deployed for election duties where imparted necessary training of EVMs and other election related matters in the meeting hall of DC office Kupwara.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara inaugurated the training session, while the Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Electoral Registration Office and Chief Education Officer delivered Lectures about the Model Code of Conduct through Power Point presentation prepared by the Nodal officer training management Kupwara.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, impressed up on the Magistrates to prepare the plans of respective polling stations regarding the basic facilities for voters and polling staff deployed for the election duty in respect of power, water, accommodation, washroom and ramp facilities at polling stations, the plan should be submitted to the District Election Officer Kupwara through the Sectoral and Zonal Magistrates.
The Nodal Officers of different activities were also present on the occasion.
