ZEO orders closure of 11 private schools for violating norms

KISHTWAR: Taking strong notice of violation and unauthorised running of some educational institutions, Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Kishtwar Subash Kumar ordered closure of 11 private schools in Kishtwar area.
According to report, the ZEO Kishtwar has asked the authorities/heads of 11 private schools including Al Iqra Asraria Modern Academy Filler, Neelam Academy Kishtwar, Saffron Public School Kishtwar, BVM Agral, Public School Kishtwar, BVM Devra Thakraie, Divine Light Public School Kishtwar, Faridia Public Academy Kishtwar, National Academy Kishtwar, BVM Hidyal and New Model Academy Kishtwar to shut the schools immediately as these are running in violation of norms and without getting extension of registration on account of non fulfillment of required formalities/requirements set by the government of Jammu and Kashmir.
CEO Kishtwar A.H Fani said, “Heads of the institutions should abide the norms and make sure to get Recognition/Permission before its expiry date”.
